Is there a Rose Bowl on? Then I’m drinking Old Fashioneds. Recipe: 2 oz Wild Turkey Rye Whiskey 1 sugar cube A few dashes Angostura bitters A few drops Bittercube Blood Orange bitters A splash of Whole Foods Grapefruit Italian soda (the closest I can find to 50/50) Mess Hall & Co Bar Cherries Drip the bitters on the sugar cube, muddle, then mix in the whiskey. Throw in a Tovolo King Cube. Top off with soda, two of these magnificent cherries (and a splash of their juice). Drink like you’re at a supper club waiting on your perch plate.
