Maude's Liquor Bar
My fantastic friend Adam and I reunited last night at one of Chicago’s newest establishments, Maude’s Liquor Bar. This new West Loop haunt is a sister of Gilt Bar, and it’s evident in the same hand-crafted cocktails and decor aesthetic… though this is a bit more French.

Her work is remarkable. What happened to the photos after her… even more so.

A promotional e-mail from J. Crew today promises me 20% off my next Madewell order. Well, don’t mind if I do!
Since my last Madewell scarf order went awry (it sort of felt like a holiday tablecloth), has anyone seen or touched this scarf in person? Is it lovely? Can you help me avoid return shipping costs (which annoy me to no end)?

Indeed, you fashion eagle-eye! It’s this one from Anthropologie. I bought it in gray in-store, which is seemingly not available online. I believe (whether accurate or not) that the sequins keep me warmer than a plain hat would.

For someone who doesn’t like cold, I end up at a lot of December/January games at Lambeau Field. However, this was highly premeditated. It was Bears. It was Packers. It was the post-season fate of my team on the line!
